New York Mafia crime scene 1923

A home made project during this sad Covid19 pandemic.
A Mafia hit in New York city in 1923.
The 1920's was a time of great prosperity in America after the end of WW1 and overcoming the Spanish flu of 1918. The new decade started with the Prohibition and ended sadly with the Stock Market crash of 1929.
I lived in NYC in the 90's and was unaware at that time that there was and elevated train railroad all over New York city from 1868 to its demolition in the 30's and 40s which led me to this idea of a mobster scene under the tracks.
I contacted Brian Burke in Calgary to see if his scanning booth would capture well a dead person on the floor and he was very fast at providing several tests and poses I needed for this project.
Since Covid was still raging across all nations we could not invite other participants for this shoot in his studio booth and he was the only model , the other poses were scanned before the pandemic.
I also wanted to include my father's name Giovanni as a restaurant owner in NY, although
he was actually a hair stylist and a hobbyist Aviation oil painter.
I would like to give special thanks for the people who posed for this
project at gravityb.com scanning services in Calgary,Canada.
Brian and Morgan Burke, Mark Murias thanks for your awesome vintage clothing collection.
Actor Jeff Randhawa, Sarah Muir ,Hayden, Jason Manchuk and Crystal Dawn.

Stay safe at home making art folks.
Until the next one, maybe the 40's.
